Senior Software Engineer
Summary
Senior Software Engineers are experienced developers with strong technical skills and are highly experienced in the entire lifecycle of software development, from requirements gathering, through design, development, testing, deployment and subsequent maintenance and enhancement releases. Software Engineers are also involved in a wide range of other duties, which may include project management and mentoring.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design of a component within a product feature set.

Qualifications:
- 5 + years experience (Senior Software Engineer)

Principal Software Engineer (Linux Kernel and Systems)

Sales Engineering Manager
Summary
Certeon is looking to add an experienced Sales Engineering Manager to its highly skilled sales team. This individual will report directly to the VP of Sales and play a key role in directing our field SE’s and supporting our growing sales efforts. This is a new position and has been created due to our rapid growth and increase in the number of new customers Certeon is attracting. This person will be responsible for the hiring and training of our field Sales Engineers as well as managing the effective use of these resources to help customers in evaluating and choosing Certeon’s leadership aCelera products.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of globally distributed SE team
- Directly responsible for managing SE in partnering with the sales team through all aspects of the sales cycle to attain revenue and quota objectives
- Provide product presentations and demonstrations to customer executive and management audiences
- Manage product trials and prepare RFP/RFI responses
- Work with key accounts to resolve functional/technical issues related to the sales cycle and product rollouts to guarantee a successful customer experience
- Coordinate resources to facilitate additional sales, training and consulting
- Mentor staff on both a technical and managerial level
- Coordinate interdepartmental efforts to insure successful evaluation results
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years in a sales engineer manger role
- Must be organized with effective communication skills verbal and written
- 10+ years experience in technology/software organizations with solid software experience supporting sales into F500 companies
- Strong networking skills (IP Routing and Switching, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, VPN)
- Excellent troubleshooting ability (Packet level diagnosis)
- Excellent presentation, demonstration and facilitation skills in leading meetings, trials and projects
- Experience with creation, customization and delivery of consulting, coaching or training highly desired
- Team player with interpersonal skills to work with sales and technical consulting staff in a dynamic and innovative company environment
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/technology or equivalent related experience
- Available for 50% travel, mostly regional

Summary
Certeon is looking to add experienced A+ Sales Representatives to its highly skilled sales team. This individual will play a key role in driving direct and partner business in a geographic territory. These new positions have been created due to our rapid growth and increase in the number of new customers Certeon is attracting. This person will be responsible for qualifying leads, understanding customer needs, creating value for our solution with the customer, driving customer evaluations, and closing business for products that lead the market in performance, scalability, and price performance. Each Sales Director will be paired with a geographic sales team composed of a Sales Engineer and an Internal Sales Representative. The SD will provide sales leadership to the geography sales team to drive increased revenues from his/her territory.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Understand the needs of the companies in the territory for acceleration
- Call on and qualify new prospects and partners
- Coordinate territory sales resources through all aspects of the sales cycle to attain revenue and quota objectives
- Provide product presentations and demonstrations to customer executive and management audiences
